Loose Mix is a series of works that I made in 2006 while I was trialing new methods and techniques of making collage artworks.
In this series of works, the individual elements were cut out and then arranged face-down on a flatbed scanner attached to a home computer. The resulting scans were then cropped in order frame the compositions accordingly.
At the time I only made a small number of these pieces, but for some time I have intended to return to creating images in this manner.
