The inner western suburbs is by far the best location in Sydney to go hunting for photos of ripped and torn posters and layered advertising material in general, especially once you get around Newtown.
Starting at Marrickville train station, I plotted a route that took in main roads that included Illawarra Road, Marrickville Road, Addison Road, Enmore Road, and finally King Street in Newtown, but I also ducked and weaved through a number of alleyways and side streets along the way.
I am already devising another route, and I get the feeling that an Inner West Odyssey Part 2 will happen in the not to distant future…
