This collage was part of a series of small collage works that I made in 2008 that I refer to as the Tiny Torn series; they are small and they were made by tearing up the paper elements by hand rather than cutting them out with scissors.
This series of works was the first time that I had worked this way, and it would be some years before I returned to this method.
